Lauren Wicker

Since her first trip to Colombia in 2017, Lauren knew that missions would somehow be part of her life, which eventually led her to join WIM in 2023. Lauren spent time both as a student and recent graduate in Colombia and Mexico, working with local churches and community organizations. She studied international business management and had several cross-cultural experiences in Latin America, each experience cultivating a passion to continue developing deep relationships with people. She is interested in holistic community development to empower young Latinos to walk with God in a sustainable way, bringing benefits to the community for generations to come. Lauren is currently serving at a children’s home near Medellin, Colombia, focusing on discipleship, service, and exploration with the kids.
