Six New Missionaries = Successful Orientation

WIM staff members often say Orientation & Training is their favorite time of year. Why? For one, there’s lots of really good food (e.g. Dr. Toth’s spaghetti). That is enough for some to be convinced, but it gets even better. Although it is a lot of work to host the week-long training, we love sharing from our hearts the things about which we are passionate: diverse cultures, the Great Commission, crazy stories from the mission field, testimonies of God’s miracles, and even math (think ministry finances). Although no official surveys have been conducted, everyone’s favorite aspect of Orientation is probably spending time with the incredibly high-quality people who attend. This year was no exception. Each of the six missionary candidates were an absolute blessing and joy to get to know. We are pleased to announce that 100% of this year’s attendees made the decision to join WIM and begin the exciting journey to the mission field. Please be praying for them as they prepare for the callings God has given them. Thanks again to all who helped make this wonderful week possible.
