Though they have been part of World Indigenous Missions since 1987, Maurice and Glenda Morris do not do evangelism, church planting or other work typical of missionaries. Their field is the ministry of helps. Maurice’s mechanical ability keeps him constantly in demand, while Glenda’s forte is keeping the WIM office running and ministering to the missionaries’ needs.
Chris & Vonda Briles have been part of WIM since 1998. They completed language school and moved to Altotonga, Veracruz, Mexico, where they served for nine years evangelizing and discipling youth and young adults. In 2008, they relocated to New Braunfels, Texas, for Chris to serve at WIM headquarters as Director of Operations. He now serves as President of the organization. In this position, he promotes the vision for the organization, networks with churches and like-minded organizations for the purpose of working together, oversees the daily operations of the office, represents the missionaries on the Board of Directors, and travels to visit and encourage missionaries serving around the world. Vonda currently serves in the WIM office as a receptionist, providing assistance to the missionaries and office personnel. The Briles have three children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, and one granddaughter.
