Gene and Isidra Gertsch
Gene joined WIM in August of 1983 because he felt the call to be a missionary, yet had no idea where to start. One day, a WIM missionary spoke at his church. His pastor, knowing about his calling, spoke with the missionary about him and set up a meeting between them. Gene has been with WIM ever since. Isidra, Gene’s wife, is from Mexico. Gene and Isidra have three children born in Mexico. They have served in five different Mexican states. Their work has always been to serve others in any way they can.
