John Shoemaker

John is from Oklahoma, born a Sooner fan. He began serving on short-term missions in 2011, working in six different cultures. In the fall of 2016, John felt the Lord leading him to Chiapas, where he continues to serve by sharing the Lord’s love with others. John joined WIM in 2019 after serving alongside WIM missionaries for two years. He has the privilege of ministering to high school boys in an orphanage and has a hunger to see them establish and grow in their relationship with their heavenly Father. This happens through experiencing daily life on a ranch with his boys, teaching them skills for living, and creating outreach opportunities in nearby villages, reaching others for Christ.
