Madeline Leichty

Madeline lives in Oaxaca, Mexico, teaching English at a Christian School. She is passionate about working with children and building friendships with those around her. Madeline enjoys being creative with art, music, and embroidery. In addition to teaching English, she also shares about Jesus and wants each of her students to be able to see themselves through the eyes of God. She is excited to build long-lasting friendships with the people and children she interacts with. Please pray for Madeline as she seeks to be a light of Jesus's love to those around her.

Madeline has previous work experience in missions and has lived and worked in Mexico since 2018. Most recently, she worked at Casa Hogar with 28 children, where she taught school, cared for the children, and helped in the kitchen and other household tasks. In 2022, Madeline joined WIM to receive more training and support while on the mission field. She appreciates how WIM is encouraging and supportive and has a family-like atmosphere.
