Gasita Rutebuka

GASITA Rutebuka Murondanyi fled the Congo in 2009 because of war and violence against the civilian population. There are currently close to one million refugees and asylum seekers from the Congo sheltered across the African continent. Refugees face miserable conditions. They don't have the normal rights of citizens like being able to go to school or work. 

In 2011, Gasita was blessed with the opportunity to attend Bible college by completing a work program. Upon graduation from the Bible College of East Africa, God filled his heart with compassion for his Congolese brethren who are scattered all over the world. 

He would like to open a school to provide free education and meals for refugee children. He would also like to start a church and Bible school in the same community. This vision will require prayer and the financial support of those who will join hands with him to complete the task.
