Gasita Rutebuka

Send a Note Start a Campaign

Rutebuka Gasita Murondanyi fled the Congo in 2009 because of war and violence against the civilian population. There are currently close to one million refugees and asylum seekers from the Congo sheltered across the African continent. Refugees face miserable conditions. They don't have the normal rights of citizens, like being able to go to school or work.

In 2011, Gasita was blessed with the opportunity to attend Bible college by completing a work program. Upon graduation from the Bible College of East Africa, God filled his heart with compassion for his Congolese brethren scattered all over the world.

God has enabled Nakivale International Mission School to open in Uganda, with 180 students, three teachers, and one head teacher. They are working on next year's goals and will open a 4th-grade classroom.
