Vicente and Janine Alvarado

Janine joined WIM in 2006 after making various connections with WIM missionaries and seeing the way they were ministering. After training, she served in Mexico for three years and then moved to Japan, working in church planting. Janine and Vicente were married in the United States in 2012, after meeting in Tokyo. They returned to Japan in 2014 and now serve as a family with their three daughters. They began their ministry in Japan by serving the local church. Later in 2020, the Lord led them to pioneer a new film and media ministry called The Gospel Through a Click. Their vision is to provide contextualized film content to reach the Japanese with the gospel, encourage evangelism, and serve churches.
